While this morning started out rough with a migraine and an IV infusion, the pain thankfully cleared this afternoon. So with no pain, the mother and I went out to enjoy the snow with our neighbors and take a stroll through the beauty.
I’ve learned that when there’s a window without pain, enjoy it. Choose joy.
It’s days like today that I’m so grateful to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The sweet snow, falling so delicately onto the pine branches.
Home now, bundled up in my Norwegian wool sweater by a roaring fire, eating soup and snacking on chocolate popcorn while watching the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Olympics.
